Glory Walls

The grass that grows across the earth
Never diseased and always in birth
And the flowers sprouting up beside them
But they’re bitter from the seed to the stem
Because the grass’s all the people, and the flower’s all their glory
And when you lose that you don’t have much in the inventory
Because the grass withers, and the flower fall
And at that, fall your shifty walls

What if we could take down glory
Turn a page of this story
A better world I’m thinkin’
A great God I’m seekin’
To tear down those walls

Cause those earthly things don’t have nothin’
They’re so twisted and broken
Because their foundation is sand
But you go to God and he gives you rock land
God is your Glory and Salvation
In his steadfast arm you cannot be shaken
